Elan Kunin is living his dream as a pre-eminent member of Montreal’s music and theatre scene. As an accomplished composer, arranger, lyricist and actor, he has been the driving force behind successful box office music events using his renowned passion and creative vision to rapidly grow into one of the Canadian music industry’s future bright stars.

Over several years, Elan collaborated extensively with Montreal’s Segal Center for the performing Arts where he developed his skills and cultivated a track record of productions that have been both commercial and creative successes. Current selected works include: the musical smash “Houdini” (2007/2008), original music and lyrics by Elan Kunin; and “Lies My Father Told Me” (2005) original music and lyrics by Elan Kunin, based on the award winning screenplay by Ted Allen.

In 2005, Elan performed Off-Broadway with his wife, Montreal actress Lisa Rubin, in the two-time Drama Desk Award nominated musical review, “On Second Avenue”.

Over the last 17 years, Elan has also honed his skills as a music composer in the realms of documentary television, animation, and film.
